Install Securely
With power disconnected, screw the heater securely into the compatible E27 holder and maintain safe clearance from bedding and enclosure surfaces.

Monitor Temperature
Monitor the enclosure with an independent thermometer and adjust the setup according to animal age, species, ambient temperature and behavior.

Definitely an upgrade from the red bulbs. My chicks are feathering out nicely and they seem a lot more comfortable moving around the enclosure instead of piling up under a single hot light. The temp control is easy to figure out even without reading the manual.

We raise a few dozen chickens every year and brooder temp has always been a headache. I decided to try this forced air heater and honestly it makes life a lot easier. The fan gently pushes hot air around the tote so there aren't any freezing cold spots on the edges anymore. I had a 220v outlet in the barn already so plugging it in wasn't an issue for me. The chicks are super active and eating well. Totally worth it if you hatch your own birds. 🐣

Bought this for a small batch of chicks we kept indoors. It fits a regular e27 socket which is nice. The built in fan is pretty quiet and spreads the warmth evenly. I still use a separate thermometer just to be safe but it seems pretty accurate so far. 👍

I was worried about fire hazards with traditional heat lamps after hearing horror stories. This feels way safer since the heating element is enclosed inside the plastic cage thing. The fan pushes the heat around nicely so the whole brooder stays at a good temperature for the new hatchlings.
